Michael 'Elvis' Baskette is a producer and songwriter renowned for bringing the big rock sound to albums such as the Gold certified Chevelle album "This Type Of Thinking" (Could Do Us In) (Epic), Incubus' "Make Yourself" (Epic/Immortal), Story Of The Year's "The Black Swan" (Epitaph), and Alter Bridge's "Blackbird" and "Alter Bridge III" (Universal).
Starting out in the record industry as an engineer, he honed his skills recording albums for iconic 90's guitar bands such as Three Day's Grace (Jive), and Stone Temple Pilots (Atlantic). He even recorded a track for Iggy Pop called "Little Know It All", which featured Sum 41.
Most recently Elvis has produced Ronnie Radke's solo LP, and albums for Escape The Fate (Epitaph) and Falling In Reverse (Epitaph). He often co-writes with the bands he is producing, and in many cases adds extra instrumentation such as guitar, bass, piano and keyboards.
Elvis' own Studio "Paint It Black" is situated in Orlando Florida, and is decked out with a 48 channel Neve console and a 32 channel API console; and Elvis' prized amplifier and guitar pedal collection.
