A Prescription Songs writer, producer and Grammy nominated engineer, Emily Wright is a versatile presence in pop music. Most recently Emily co-wrote and co-produced Karmin's hit single "Broken Hearted" on their debut album "Hello" and two songs ("Gold" and "Take it All Away") on Owl City's "Shooting Star - EP". Her talents have also appeared on Katy Perry's multi-Platinum album "Teenage Dream" (including hit singles "Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)" and "California Gurls"), Miley Cyrus's 3 times Platinum single "Party In The USA", and Britney Spears' hit singles "Hold It Against Me" and "Till The World Ends". Emily works with a dynamic range of high profile artists, which include Taio Cruz, Akon, Usher, T.I., Ke$ha, and 3OH!3.
In 2007, Emily was hired as an engineer for Lukasz "Dr. Luke" Gottwald (2010 Billboard/ASCAP Producer of the Year). Relocating to Los Angeles as Gottwald's production company's primary engineer and vocal editor where she recorded countless hit pop singles - including multi-Platinum hits with Britney Spears' ("Circus"), Katy Perry ("I Kissed A Girl", "Hot N Cold"), and Kelly Clarkson ("My Life Would Suck Without You"). Emily continued to hone her production skills through recording and vocal editing songs on Ke$ha's hit album "Animal", and additional songs on her repackage "Cannibal".
More recently Emily has written songs for Britney Spears ("Gasoline") and Miranda Cosgrove for the "iCarly 2" soundtrack (also producing several tracks). As a vocal producer, she has worked with Flo Rida on "Good Feeling", Britney Spears (for the multi-Platinum album "Femme Fatale"), and Sabi on the Cobra Starship single "You Make Me Feel...".
