Alex Ghenea is a music producer and remixer based out of Virginia Beach and Los Angeles. Over the past few years, Alex has produced remixes for some of the biggest names in music today, such as Ariana Grande, Nick Jonas, Katy Perry, DNCE, Maroon 5, Bridgit Mendler, Selena Gomez, The Killers, and many others. Music has played a central role in Alex’s life since the very beginning, even since he was just 5 years old, when he began learning to play the drums, bass, guitar, and piano. He knew he was interested in music production and started making his own hip-hop and instrumental tracks at a very young age. When he was just 15 years old, he remixed Demi Lovato’s “Skyscraper,” which ultimately caught the attention of Demi’s label, Hollywood Records, as well as other major labels. RCA, in turn, gave Alex the green-light to remix Adam Lambert’s “Better Than I Know Myself:” his first official remix. Alex has continued rising to prominence ever since.
More recently, Alex remixed Nick Jonas’ single, “Levels,” which earned him radio play, millions of streams online and a #1 spot on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart. He gained even more widespread acclaim and prestige when he released his remix of Ariana Grande’s “Into You,” featuring a new verse by Mac Miller. The remix immediately shot to the top of Soundcloud’s pop charts, has accumulated tens of millions of streams online and even led to a profile on Alex in Teen Vogue. Some of his latest projects include remixes of Tegan and Sara’s “Boyfriend,” FRND’s “Movies,” Stalgia’s “Paper Wings,” and Ariana Grande’s “Side to Side” and “God Is A Woman.” Alex continues making music to this day, delving more into a prominent role as a producer, working with various artists, producers, and songwriters such as L Devine, Eman, Mack Wild, & Andrew Goldstein. He and will undoubtedly continue sharing his talent and releasing new music for top-tier artists.
