Andrew Goldstein is a songwriter, producer and artist hailing from Reston, Virginia. He began is career in the music industry in 2006 as the lead vocalist for power pop band, The Friday Night Boys. After a few years of recording and releasing music through Fueled by Ramen Records, Andrew turned his attention toward writing and producing for more mainstream pop, R&B and pop punk acts. Throughout the past few years, Andrew has worked with some of the biggest names in music, such as Demi Lovato, Jason Derulo, Fifth Harmony, Britney Spears, Hoodie Allen, Selena Gomez, All Time Low, Linkin Park, MKTO, Lindsey Sterling, and even Celine Dion. Some of Andrew's most recent work includes Lauv's "Bracelet," 5 Seconds of Summer's "Want You Back," Louis the Child's "Last To Leave," and Quinn XCII's "What The Hell Happened To Us."
Beyond his career as a writer and producer, Andrew continues to have his own solo artist project, FRND. He released the project's first EP, In Your Dreams, in 2017 and has already released 4 new singles in 2018 alone. Aside from creating his own music, he also frequently collaborates with alternative hip hop and R&B artist, blackbear, as FRND. The two worked together on 2017's "Do Re Mi" and "Anxiety," and more recently co-wrote and co-produced blackbear's newest single, "The 1."
