Writer-producer Jason Evigan has quickly become known for his big hooks, masterful use of dynamics and innovative sound design. Jason was launched to the forefront of in-demand producers with his co-production of Demi Lovato’s “Heart Attack” - a Top 5 double platinum single. Evigan followed that with Jason Derulo’s smash single “Talk Dirty”, which he co-wrote. This single reached #1 in the US, UK, Germany & Australia - and was quadruple platinum in the US.
His next success was a #1 single in the UK “Lovers In The Sun”, which he co-wrote with David Guetta. Jason went on to co-produce Guetta’s follow up single “Dangerous” (#1 in Germany and other Euro countries). He has 2 songs on the new Maroon 5 album and produced 2 songs on Nick Jonas’s album, including the current Top 10 single, "Chains".
Jason also has Pitbull's new single ft. Chris Brown called "Fun". And he co-wrote Kelly Clarkson's "Heartbeat Song". In addition, Jason has 3 songs on Prince Royce’s upcoming debut English language album, including “Stuck On A Feeling” ft. Snoop Dog.
Evigan offers artists and co-writers a unique, wide range of skills - being both an innovative producer and an excellent topliner. He brings a laid back approach to sessions - believing creative success begins with personal chemistry. “Before a session, I like to hang out a little with the artist or co-writer, maybe grab coffee or a quick bite to eat,” he says. “What we do together as songwriters is so intimate and personal, it’s great to have that foundation of ease to start from.” Prior to his career as a writer-producer, Evigan was the lead singer of After Midnight Project. The band released one album and 4 EPs. They participated in the Warped Tour and played with artists such as Chevelle, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Papa Roach, 30 Seconds to Mars, 10 Years and Story of the Year. Though he came up in the alt-rock scene, his palette is expansive - encompassing genres such as hip-hop, R&B, pop, rock, metal, EDM and singer-songwriter.
