Grammy nominated writer-producer Jason Evigan has quickly become known for his big hooks, masterful use of dynamics and innovative sound design.
Widely known for global hits with Maroon 5, Jason produced & co-wrote “Girls Like You” ft. Cardi B & “What Lovers Do” ft. SZA. Evigan also worked with Dua Lipa on Future Nostalgia, where he produced & co-wrote her single “Physical” and co-wrote “Boys Will Be Boys”. He also co-wrote Dan and Shay’s current single “I Should Probably Go To Bed”. In addition, Jason produced & co-wrote Ellie Goulding’s single “Hate Me” ft: Juice WRLD, and half of RUFUS DU SOL’s critically acclaimed album, Solace.
Evigan offers artists and co-writers a unique, wide range of skills - being both an innovative producer and excellent topliner. He brings a laid-back approach to sessions - believing creative success begins with personal chemistry. “Music is spiritual, we are literally making something out of nothing every time we get in a room, so it’s good to get to know each other a bit before we try and create.”
Jason launched to the forefront of in-demand producers with his production of Demi Lovato’s double-platinum “Heart Attack”. He followed with Jason Derulo’s 4X platinum single “Talk Dirty”, which hit #1 in many countries, and then the double-platinum Nick Jonas hit “Chains”. Jason also co-wrote Kelly Clarkson’s platinum “Heartbeat Song” & had multiple successes with David Guetta, including the #1 UK singles “Lovers In The Sun” & “Dangerous”.
In addition to his chart success, Jason’s music has been a part of three blockbuster movies. Notably, Kehlani’s platinum single “Gangsta” & Skylar Grey’s “Wreak Havoc” for the Suicide Squad ST. Also, Nick Jonas’ “Bom Didi Bom” ft. Nicki Minaj from 50 Shades Darker, as well as Kehlani’s gold single “Good Life” and Lil Yachty’s “Mamacita” from The Fate of the Furious ST.
Prior to his career as a writer-producer, Evigan was the lead singer of After Midnight Project. Though he came up in the alt-rock scene, his palette is expansive - encompassing genres such as hip-hop, R&B, pop, rock, metal, EDM and singer-songwriter.
In 2016, Jason and his wife Victoria formed a music duo called Elephant Heart. Rooted in their shared passion for international travel, world beats and global cultures, as well as their nonprofit organization Picture This, Elephant Heart creates genre-bending music that pulls multicultural influences from far and wide. The duo has landed several notable placements, including “Lenguas” in Apple's AirPods Pro commercial.
