2016 has been an incredible year for the AAM family. AAM’s exceedingly talented producers, songwriters, mixers, and engineers have been creating the greatest music and remaining on top of nearly every chart consistently throughout the entire year. At the end of every year, Billboard releases the Hot 100 Year End Chart – a comprehensive ranking of the year’s 100 most popular songs across all genres – and 2016’s Year End Chart is jam-packed with countless AAM hit collaborations. For instance, MYKL co-wrote and produced Zayn’s “Pillowtalk,” MoZella co-wrote Charlie Puth’s “One Call Away,” DallasK co-wrote and produced Fifth Harmony’s “Work From Home,” JKash co-wrote Meghan Trainor’s “No,” Cirkut co-wrote and produced The Weeknd’s “Starboy,” and that’s just to name a few – the list goes on and on. Not to mention, Julia Michaels comes in all the way up at #2 on the chart for co-writing Justin Bieber’s year-defining single, “Sorry,” as well as other smash hits like Selena Gomez’s “Hands to Myself” and Nick Jonas’ “Close.” AAM mixing legend, Serban Ghenea, also appears on the chart a significant amount of times – having worked on nearly a quarter of all the songs on the entire list, including Justin Timberlake’s “Can’t Stop The Feeling,” DNCE’s “Cake By The Ocean,” Adele’s “Send My Love (To Your New Lover),” Ariana Grande’s “Dangerous Woman,” One Direction’s “Perfect,” and many more. As 2016 comes to close, we look back at all the amazing talent we’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with and could not be any more excited for all the fantastic music to come in 2017!
