Distinguished AAM songwriter, producer and musical jack-of-all-trades, Jason Evigan, is back with another one! On November 9th, pop singer-songwriter, Sabrina Carpenter, released her third studio album, Singular: Act I, with Hollywood Records. Jason co-wrote and co-produced the album, which has been released to immediate commercial success and critical acclaim. PEOPLE describes the album as an "empowering...force to be reckoned with," while The Line of Best Fit identifies the album as Sabrina's "tightest, most polished project to date." The album review team at Idolator even explicitly established the Jason-penned-and-produced track, "Paris," as their "personal favorite."
Singular: Act I serves as just one recent example of Jason's extensive work with high-profile artists, such as Demi Lovato, Jason Derulo, Fifth Harmony, Nick Jonas, G-Eazy, Maroon 5, Bebe Rexha, Charlie Puth, and countless others. Even just in the past year alone, Jason's writing and production has topped charts around the world and generated well over a billion streams online; most notably Maroon 5's "Girls Like You" featuring Cardi B, which has spent over 23 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100, claiming its #1 spot for over 7 weeks. Aside from his collaborations with other artists, Jason recently started an artist project with his wife, Victoria. The two have begun releasing music as an electronic duo under the moniker, Elephant Heart.
Act I is brand new, but considering the performance of Sabrina Carpenter's previous two albums combined with Jason's involvement in the project, we're sure the album will make an even larger impact in the coming days and weeks.
