Nick Jonas + Jason Evigan & Julia Michaels

Nick Jonas’ new album Last Year Was Complicated debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 charts, with the help of AAM’s Jason Evigan, Julia Michaels, and Serban Ghenea. The album also debuted at #1 in over 20 countries on the iTunes album chart mere hours after it was released and on the Billboard Top Album Sales. Julia Michaels had huge success as a co-writer on the two singles from the album – “Chainsaw” and “Close” featuring Tove Lo, which is currently in the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100. Jason Evigan, who wrote and produced on the album, is receiving high praise for his work on “Voodoo”, “Champagne Problems”, “Good Girls”, “The Difference”, and “Comfortable.” Allmusic has described his production as “immaculately produced pop confection.” Serban Ghenea also mixed 5 tracks on the album – “Champagne Problems”, “Touch”, “The Difference”, “Close”, and “Under You.” This is Jonas’ highest charting solo effort.
