AAM’s Serban Ghenea wins album of the year 3 years in a row with 24K magic, 25, and 1989

It is already overwhelming enough to look back at the amount of milestones Serban Ghenea has accomplished this past year alone- but Ghenea’s overall successes are definitely not overlooked! The mix-engineer continues to impress the music industry, with 2018 being the third year in a row that Ghenea has won the prestigious “Album of the Year” Grammy award.

The world was first amazed in 2016 with Taylor Swift’s 5x Platinum album, 1989, which Ghenea entirely mixed himself. The next year Ghenea mixed the two hits, “Send My Love (To Your New Lover)” and “Water Under the Bridge”, which were featured on Adele’s Album 25. The album set new records, selling 3.38 million copies its debut week. Finally, Ghenea Mixed Bruno Mar’s 2x platinum album, 24k, which won a plethora of awards at this years Grammys. After contributing to the past three “Album of the Years”, it is hard to not believe that everything Ghenea touches turns to gold. Ghenea continues to amaze us with his work, and AAM is proud to be a part of his past successes. For the third year in the row, Congratulations Serban!
