Last Wednesday, the BRIT Awards were a success for AAM’s Serban Ghenea as one of his renowned mixes, “Shout Out to My Ex” by Little Mix took home the award for British Single. The Single had some tough competitors being amongst hits such as “Pillowtalk” by Zayn, “This Is What You Came For” by Calvin Harris and Rihanna, and “Faded” by Alan Walker. The single was mixed in its entirety by Serban and immediately received critical acclaim as it debuted at #1 on the UK Official Singles Chart back in October. According to the Huffington Post, Serban’s work shines through the song’s “catchy, sassy, and stunning” tune, especially during the acapella segment in which their voices mesh together incredibly well and “sound amazing”! Recently, Serban just gained extreme success with his Grammy win for Album of the Year with Adele’s 25. Serban’s previous work with Little Mix has been quite the successful collab through songs such as “Black Magic” which reached #1 on the UK Official Singles chart, as well. It’s been quite the month of wins for Serban and it’s no wonder the collaboration with Little Mix won the esteemed BRIT Award!
