Following her album 1989 released in 2014, Swift comes back with her album Reputation mixed by Serban Ghenea. The album's anticipation was amped as Taylor released single after single teasing the album. Starting summer of 2017, Taylor started to use social media to preview her singles off the album. Her sixth album Reputation is mixed by AAM’s Serban Ghenea who has previously worked with Taylor for 1989 and RED. “Look What You Made Do”, one of Taylor’s hit singles off the album, has already over 700 million views on Youtube and peaked at #1 in September. As part of Reputation's release, Taylor did exclusive early listening parties inviting "Swifties" from all around the world at certain locations. Taylor also marketed Reputation with UPS so if you walk down a block in New York City, you are bound to see the album cover at a red light. Currently, Swift has 3 songs on the iTunes top song charts. “...Ready for it” which fans have describe to be empowering, sexy, and Taylor's way of conveying ownership through her music has 100 million streams on Spotify. With “Call it What You Want” at #3, “...Ready for it” at #9, and “Look What You Made Do” at #11. While Taylor Swift's Reputation is #1 on the Worldwide iTunes charts ever since its release last week, Nielsen Music reports Reputation has sold 1.05 million copies in less than a week. Meaning that Taylor Swift’s Reputation holds the title for the best selling album in the United States for 2017 so far. Critics like the LA times are raving over the album, but importantly fans are obsessed with it. Taylor’s success is no surprise as the music business mogul and pop princess has everything it takes. It’s been less than a week since Reputation released, but its impact makes us question if we we’re really “...Ready For it".
